About Us

Following the formation in Victoria of the Aviation Historical Group of Australia in 1959, the AHSA NSW “Branch” was formed in 1964 following a meeting at Qantas House in Sydney and continued the aim of fostering an interest in the history and heritage of Australian aviation and also to further the preservation of relevant historical material.

We meet monthly (except January) at North Ryde RSL on the first Wednesday of each month, our meetings include a presentation from a keynote speaker and other activities . Members also receive a monthly newsletter, "Southern Skies" which is accompanied by the supplement "Loops and Landings".

We always welcome new members and anyone with an interest in aviation generally can come along to our meetings.
